My favorite Chinese buffet in the northland. The beef with mushrooms and fried shrimp are great. The buffet is small but every thing on it is good.

Staying at the Hilton which is about 5 miles away. Ordered delivery at 3:00PM on a Wednesday. Food arrived over an hour later at 4:15PM. Hot and Sour Soup: Pretty good taste Beef Noodle Soup: Yucky, flavorless bowl of hot water Crispy Fried Chicken Wings: Very good. Meaty and tasty Online ordering makes ordering a snap, though delivery time is a lifelong endeavor.

Now I ate in one time at the buffet. It was near close and they had some items already out of stock, so I won't ding them for that. The restaurant is small given they are in a strip mall, but for it's size, had a pretty nice sized buffet. Their delivery is fast and friendly. I love their Shrimp Lo Mein, Steamed Dumplings, Fantail Shrimp, and Spring Rolls. This last time I tried the Seafood Combination. A friend had shown me a picture of the order she got and it was laoded with scallops, shrimp, and a lobster tail. My order was mostly vegetables. 2 scallops, 5 shrimp and a VERY overcooked, bitter and mealy lobster tail. Won't have that again, but I will definitely go back for the standard Chinese dining staples that they really do well.

TERRIBLE!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!If I could give it a half a star I would! This place is terrible!! The food was burnt, our order wasn't right, and it was cold! We got cold soup!!! We decided to have a weekend trip in Kansas City and wanted to try something new and different that we can't get in our home town. We decided to try this place as it had great reviews. I think they hired those people to write those reviews because this is some of the worst Chinese food I've had in my life. On top of it, we are located 2.1 miles away from the restaurant. We figured we would have it delivered since we needed to get dressed and ready and after that, the food would be here and we could go on our day of seeing the city. IT TOOK OVER 2 HOURS FOR THE FOOD TO GET HERE!!! We ordered at 12:45pm and it didn't get here til 2:45pm!! On top of it, they enforced a $3 dollar delivery charge!!! Are you freaking kidding me!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We called the restaurant and this rude lady took our call, put us on hold as we could hear her take 3 other orders and then hang up on us!!! This is crap!!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! Very disappointed and I will make sure I NEVER come here again as well as tell others!! On top of it, it tastes terrible!

Excellent food. Some of the best Beef and Broccoli I have had in a long time. The family meal is a great value. Just excellent! Springs rolls were hot and tasty. Sweet and sour chicken delicious. Rice was perfect texture. Delivery was quick! Very impressed with the service and the food. Order online at the website or by phone. Would order from them again when in the area.

Have had delivery twice this week! Wonderful chicken corn soup (hard to find around here). Thoughtful packaging, with attention to all the 'extras' we had requested (chilli sauce, extra crispy noodles etc). So Grade A delivery. Only complaint would be it took 50min or so (live about 5 min away) but we planned accordingly and expect it will take this long in the future. All the food we have tried has been good-very good. Thrilled to find a decent Chinese restaurant that delivers around here.

I ordered delivery from here a few weeks ago because I wanted to try something new and was attracted to the online ordering system. It took an hour for my food to get to me (I live a 5 minute drive from the restaurant and the estimated delivery time was 35 minutes) and it was DISGUSTING. My egg rolls were burned and filled with nothing but cabbage, my beef chow mein was a bucket of grease with no noodles in sight. The only redeemable part of the meal was the steamed dumplings. I won't order from here again.

Strip mall location and rundown looking interior belies the really good food and value. I was reluctant to eat here but am glad I did. I didn't notice any MSG and while there was nothing exotic or special on the menu -- nothing spicy except one dish -- I had a not so good meal at China Wok and was looking for a fast, inexpensive Chinese restaurant near the Zona Rosa. I've been since very happy with the Rainbow. It's a small buffet but possesses all the usual dishes and the food is hot and tasty. The items appear fresh and of consistent quality. Definitely an A-OK choice for Chinese food.

I liked this place, it was very cheap. The staff was friendly, they made the establishment cozy. The food is very good, specially the mushrooms, though the verity of food is a little limited. I would recommend this place to anyone that is willing to get passed the size of the location, great for anyone on a tight budget.

my sister wanted to meet for lunch while i was in town and her lunch break was only for 30 minutes. i am not a buffet person, but i agreed to meet her there. i was underwhelmed.
